Welcome to Metaphor by Metaphor by Stephen D. Gibson.

They say it’s not the best time to start a blog (see Paul Boutin’s “Twitter, Flickr, Facebook Make Blogs Look So 2004,” for example), but I get the feeling I’m leading the English department at Utah Valley University in the number of copies made each semester. If nothing else, I’ll use this blog to post documents for students. Accessing documents here will be faster than the school’s Blackboard/UVlink system, I think. So, this is a blog about my classes, reading, writing, and teaching creative writing. And whatever else comes up.
